We believe in providing self-service solutions, and promote the use of tools to support this model. We offer complete website setup, the cost of which can vary significantly, depending on your scope. We specialize in, and suggest the use of WordPress for simple implementations, and Joomla! for the more complex content management systems. Both software packages are opensource, and licensed under version 2 of the GNU General Public License (GPLv2); therefore, providing zero licensing cost. The applications are best of breed and allow our clients to edit their own websites once they are setup. The standard project usually includes the reservation of a domain name, engaging a hosting provider, and the development of about 6-10 web pages. The cost for this typically runs around $1,200 – $2,200. This price includes one year of hosting, one year of domain registration, WordPress setup, Theme installation, and 6-10 pages of content. The cost can increase from the lower estimate or change to a time and materials model due to intensive theme customization requests, large scale image manipulation requests, Joomla! customization (including extension and template building), or other large project plans. We will point out anything that sounds especially time consuming during our initial free consultation.

Web Hosting
We recommend ICDSoft or Bluehost for web hosting; however, we promote self-service, and if you would be more comfortable finding your own provider, that is also encouraged.
